Affiliated with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, it is a national key university in successive batches, a university directly under the central government, one of the first batch of Project 211, Project 985, and a Class A university in the World-Class University construction initiative, a second-round Double First-Class construction university, and selected for the National Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program.
